It’s been a busy summer for me for lots of reasons, not all necessarily fun (lots of medical stuff), but one thing that has kept me going has been books. This year, I’ve rediscovered my love for reading, and it’s felt less like a job or chore, and I’m so happy to have found my happy place among the books. I hope you all have found joy in your own reading lately, and if not, try picking up something for no reason other than you think it will be fun to read.
Take some time to visit your local indie or order some new books from Bookshop.org this month! (Ordering through this link helps me keep writing this newsletter AND supports the indie bookstore of your choice!)
Tuesday’s weekly book recommendations will always be free, but once a month, I send out roundup for paid subscribers of books being published that month that I’ve added to my TBR stack and am very excited about reading. There will be buy and preorder links (preorders are incredibly helpful for authors) for all books featured.
Try a paid subscription for free today, and look at other past months’ recommendations!
