I saw many people didn’t click with it on Goodreads do you wouldn’t be alone! I also think it came to me at a time I really resonated with it, which helps. Also try the audiobook! Sometimes dialogue with no quotes bothers people, which this book has, so the audio may work better!
Good idea. I don't normally mind dialogue with no quotes -- it wasn't the style that didn't work for me, I don't think? -- I just think it was timing, as it so often is.
(And also, if you don’t enjoy it, it’s also okay! I often feel guilty when I don’t love books my friends do, so I hope I’m not putting that same pressure out to others! What a joy to have so many books to pick from that there is something for everyone!)
