This sounds amazing! Anything with the words "Westing Game" is winner for me.

I picked up Greenglass House based on your review. I’m loving the mystery and the cozy-ness of it all. I typically don’t read middle grade, but i would recommend this to anyone that wants a fun read. Thanks!

I'm so so glad you are enjoying it! It's the perfect time of year to read it, too, when everything is busy and you want that magical winter book feeling!

I was handed a luxury this week, two days off work because of the snow/ice. Unfortunately, when there is ice I can't get out of my apartment complex, sometimes I can't get past the bottom of the stairs on the way to my car. I think I've found my read for this weekend; I was able to download this book through Libby. I love middle-grade books; I'm excited to start this one later on today. Thanks for the recommendation.

Yay for an unexpected two days off, not so much for the ice :( But I hope you enjoy it!

I've heard such good things about this one. We're not getting pounded with snow here in Wisconsin (I mean, no more than usual, we're just hanging out in the negative digits) but I still want to pick this up before winter's over. (Good thing winter lasts until May.)

Alternatively, read it when you're melting over the summer.

That always sounds appealing -- reading outside the current season -- but I've realized I'm a seasonal reader. (Maybe this is because I've created such routines around seasonal reading with my kids?) In summer I want a book that's melting while I melt 😅

I'm also such a seasonal reader! For some reason the snowed-in thing has always been one of my favorites too! I love that forced locked-room setting!
