That sounds like a good time!

I've got a continuing goal (since 2020, when my goal was 20 books) to read 24 new-to-me books during the year. It's not a difficult goal, but I find that without it I dedicate my time to things that require less effort (staring for hours at my phone, playing video games, etc.). Cheers!

That's a great goal! It's so easy to fall into scrolling for hours! I saw someone online (while scrolling, of course) who, for a week, used her "screen time hour count" display on her phone to replace those hours with reading instead, and I thought that was such a good idea!

I'd get through SO MANY BOOKS that way.

My two reading goals are 1) to get through 30 books and 2) to really whittle down the TBR. I’ve had stuff piled up for years that need to be cleared.

SAME! My goal is to read mostly from my own pile! I'm sure we've got so many gems we already own!

Have you read Paul Collins? He's a non-fiction author who covers a broad range of American history, and two good ones were crime-related, The Murder of the Century and Blood & Ivy. The latter is the case of the Harvard professor who murdered a man in his lab.

As I write book reviews about horror and true crime, my goal is to attempt to keep up with all the new authors in the genre and the latest releases. Ha!

I usually read a minimum of 100 books a year. 2023 was my lowest count at 76, which I'm fine with. Really, just fine.

That pie chart is one of those things that makes me wish I tracked my reading better...what a cool thing to be able to see at the end of the year!! And this book sounds super fun. Great recommendation!
