How to Kill Your Best Friend — Lexie Elliot. Georgie, Bronwyn, and Lissa were inseparable in college. They dominated on their college swim team, and they’ve remained strong swimmers and strong friends since. But when Lissa is declared dead—found drowned in Kanu Cove, a dangerous and strange area of ocean—her friends are shocked and confused.
I agree, they could have had a lot more nuance. I did see it as a sort of White Lotus thing, where many of the guests looked down on the resident workers, but I would have liked more from the workers on their perspectives of the events.
I've heard a lot about this book. Maybe it's time I finally pick it up!
This was a good summer pageturner, although I didn't love the depictions of the hotel staff from the island.

I’m excited to add this one to my tbr.
I love a good thriller in the summer!
Summer reading is the best.
I've been looking for a good summer mystery. Brb, running to my library's website to request this.
As a former swimmer, I’m a sucker for any books about swimmers. And who doesn’t love a good thriller?!
Oh, this one sounds intriguing! Thanks for putting it on my radar.
